CFL Hold Experts Review for Meidum and Long Term Plan for Undergraduate Majors
Onthe afternoon of Jan. 14th, CFL Experts Review for Meidum and LongTerm Plan for Undergraduate Majors was hold in CFL Building Room 311 at 13:30.Professor Zhang Chunbo from East China Normal Universiy; Professor Xie TianzhenFrom Shanghai International Studies University and Professor Shang Xin, Dean ofCFL were invited to this meeting hosted by Professor He Shaobin,vice dean ofCFL.
Theleading persons of 5 branches of English department(English Translation,Shipping English, Business English, Japanese and Speciality English) made adetailed report for the development plans of the majors they take charge. Theexperts expressed their compliment after listening to the report. All of themgave some constructive suggestions on the objectives, concret measures,validity and even the way to explain the plan. The meeting last three and ahalf hours till almost 5 pm.
Thismeeting is the action on the spirit of last conference on UndergraduateTeaching and Development of Various Majors held on the early September in 2014.It will guide the disciplinary development in next 5 years.
