Liu Huidan, a young teacher of the College of Foreign Languages, won the first prize in the English major group of the 12th SFLEP National Foreign Language Teaching Contest (Shanghai Division) held at Shanghai University from June 5 to 6, 2021.
There were teachers from 15 universities in Shanghai participating in this contest. In the end, Ms. Liu Huidan won the first prize in the English major group of the contest in the Shanghai division. Liu said that from this contest, she had a deeper understanding of foreign language teaching in the era of Internet+ and inspired herself to be innovative in teaching. Meanwhile, observing the lectures of other teachers also helped her to overcome shortcomings.
This contest was founded in 2010, aiming to promote the construction of foreign language teachers in colleges and universities and improve the education of foreign language majors in China. The contest covers more than 1,000 colleges and universities in China and has been highly recognized by the foreign language community.
