In order to promote the in-depth development of the study and education of the four histories, and effectively improve the party cultivation and theoretical level of Party members, all branches of the faculty and students of the College of Foreign Languages actively carried out the theme of “deepening the study and education of the four histories, learning, practicing and respecting the Party Charter”.
In the afternoon of December 21, the 2019 graduate student branch of Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics organized this thematic Party activity. At the meeting, Li Jiameng shared his learning experience, saying that although the Party Charter is not long, every paragraph and every viewpoint is based on scientific theory and is the result of valuable practical experience. Kuang Zhongmin combined her own experience as a volunteer in the fight against epidemics and said that as a Party member, we should respect and practice the Party Charter, fulfill the purpose of Party membership, make selfless contributions and be a good role model among students.
On December 22nd, the Party Branch of Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics Class of 2020 held this activity in the classroom of teaching building. The meeting was chaired by Li Kangxin, the branch secretary, and He Tiantian, the organizing committee member, led the Party members to reread the party constitution. Xiao Li, Lv Chan, Lu Ying Ying and other students shared about their experience of studying the Party Charter. They said that the study of the Party Charter made them realize more deeply the advanced nature of the Party and have a clearer and more concrete understanding of the qualities, obligations, and responsibilities.
In the afternoon of December 22, the Party Branch of Master of Translation and Interpreting of 2020 carried out the theme Party activity in Room 108 of the Economic Management Building. Party secretary Lin Zeyu presided over the meeting, and all Party members attended. During the meeting, Lin Zeyu emphasized the importance of studying the party constitution and led the students to study the rights and obligations of party members in the party constitution. After watching the video, they expressed their feelings and said that they should continuously enhance their awareness of Party membership and strengthen their Party spirit.
On the morning of December 23, the English-Japanese-Chinese Class of 2020 Postgraduate Party Branch held the theme Party activity in Room 210 of Foreign Language Building. At the meeting, Jiang Wenjing, the secretary of the branch, led the students to revisit the party constitution and said that the Party constitution is the fundamental law of the Party. Then, Jiang Wenjing asked questions about the basic theoretical knowledge of the Party in the primary stage of socialism, and the Party members answered enthusiastically. At the end, the Party members exchanged their experiences and thoughts on studying the Party Charter.
Other branches of teachers and students also carried out this theme activity in various ways.
