In the afternoon of July 1, the College of Foreign Languages celebrated the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Party by holding an online event for party members to take the oath of office and the Learning Power learning recognition and exchange. Zhu Yaobin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, Qian Minfang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, representatives of Party members from the teachers' branch, teachers from the Student Office and Party members from all student branches participated in the event.
The event was held through the Tencent conference platform. During the event, the Party members stood up, sang the International Anthem, and Qian Minfang, deputy secretary of the Party committee, led the Party members to take the Party oath and recite the oath of Party membership. After the Party members took the oath, Deputy Secretary Qian read out the Interim Measures for Party Members of the College of Foreign Languages to Participate in the Learning Power Learning Incentive, informed the recent learning situation of each student and faculty branch of Learning Power, and announced that the students and faculty of the College who won the title of Learning Power Learning Star in 2019 and 2020 (the first half of the year) The list of students and faculty members who will be awarded the title of Star of Learning in 2019 and 2020. Ouyang Shu, a member of the organization committee of the Party Committee and a counselor of the Party building, exchanged his experience of political theory study in Learning Power.
At the end of the event, Party Secretary Zhu Yaobin concluded his speech. He pointed out that the 99th anniversary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) is a magnificent history, and over the past 99 years, the CPC has held several significant conferences and made many epoch-making achievements and victories in different periods of revolution and construction.
