In the afternoon of June 19, a seminar for graduates of the College of Foreign Languages and a commemorative activity for graduates leaving the school were held in Room 326 of Foreign Language Building. Mr. Qian Minfang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, attended the seminar, and representatives of graduates from various majors attended the seminar. Mr. Qian firstly congratulated the graduates on behalf of the college, thanked them for leaving a good time and growth stories here, and wished them a bright future after graduation. On the day of graduation on June 20, the college made meticulous arrangements and paid attention to every detail of the graduates' departure. Sun Zhikuan, the counselor of the graduation class, reminded each graduate what other procedures they needed to go through; a consultation area was set up to provide consultation services for graduates on various issues such as registration certificate and account registration; the Youth League Committee organized students to carefully decorate the lobby of the outer courtyard and set up a message wall and a photo wall for graduates.
In the afternoon of June 20, the graduation ceremony of the class of 2019 was held in the gymnasium. At the ceremony, students of the College prepared slogans and KT boards with the words of Faithfulness and respect, blessing the University and Thanks to SMU, wishing teachers good health and fragrance of plums. After the graduation ceremony, the college held the degree awarding ceremony for the graduates of 2019 in the Foreign Language Building, and Zhu Yaobin, secretary of the party committee of the college, took a group photo of each graduate and awarded the diploma and degree certificate.
