At 1:30 p.m. on January 9, 2019, the end-of-semester general meeting of the faculty and staff of the School of Foreign Languages was held in the lecture hall on the first floor of the Foreign Language Building, with more than one hundred faculty and staff attending the meeting, and Zhu Yaobin, secretary of the Party Committee of the School, presiding over the meeting.
At the meeting, Vice President of Research He Shaobin and Vice President of Teaching Guo Haixia summarized the overall situation of research work, postgraduate work and undergraduate teaching, competition awards and teaching reform work in the second half of 2018, respectively. Qian Minfang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, reported the student work of the college in three aspects, including party building and thinking, academic style construction and employment work this semester.
