In the afternoon of December 26, the 2018 Academic Style Construction Commendation Conference and Final Academic Style Mobilization Conference of the College of Foreign Languages was held in the lecture hall of the Foreign Language Building with the attendance of Qian Minfang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and all teachers of the Student Office as judges, and the participation of class cadres, party members and party activists of each grade.
In the meeting, first of all, the classes that entered the final stage of the 2018 College of Foreign Languages' excellent classroom style construction competition were presented. 8 classes from each grade showed their work from various angles, such as classroom academic situation analysis, classroom style display, classroom committee work, classroom style construction experience, etc., to demonstrate their efforts in enhancing classroom cohesion, guiding students to clarify learning goals, correct learning attitude, standardizing learning behavior, serious examination style, strengthening students' integrity education, and enhancing students' integrity education. Subsequently, this conference commended the outstanding groups and individuals who performed outstandingly in the construction of academic style in the college in 2018, including 8 excellent class collectives, 12 learning pacesetters, 25 advanced individuals in the construction of academic style, 7 learning progress awards, 8 outstanding individuals in the student community, 12 outstanding individuals in social practice, and 8 demonstration awards for party members in the construction of academic style. Five teachers presented awards to the students, and Wei Yutong, the winner of the Outstanding Individual in Academic Style Construction in Grade 17, and Liu Kexin, the winner of the Learning Progress Award in Grade 16, spoke as student representatives to share their learning experience and progress, encouraging the students present to actively plan their college life, set goals, manage time well and use appropriate learning methods.
