Showing Class Style, Building Excellent Class Style - Class Style Evaluation and Display Activities for Grade 18 Undergraduates of College of Foreign Languages

In order to further strengthen the construction of class style and academic style and promote understanding among students, the class style evaluation and display activity of the 18th undergraduate students of the College of Foreign Languages was held in the lecture hall of the Foreign Language Building on December 16, and each class took turns to show the students and class style on the stage. Qian Minfang, deputy secretary of the party committee of the college, and teachers from the student office served as judges of the activity.

Hu Xinyu, a 17-year undergraduate student and assistant counselor, hosted the event. The content of each class display mainly includes class construction (class logo, class motto, class committee team building, etc.), class activities, class achievements, outstanding students' style, etc. Each class showed a variety of forms, in addition to the presentation, some classes made videos, and some classes explained the PPT through live recitation.

In the showcase, each class of the 18th grade undergraduates demonstrated the class spirit of unity, cooperation, positivity and excellence. Students in each class come from all over the world, and in more than 3 months from the beginning of the school year to now, through one collective activity, students understand each other, tolerate each other, join hands and pursue the honor belonging to individuals and the collective together. In the display of class motto, some of the class mottos are macro and some are specific, but all of them express the self-requirement and expectation of students who are determined to root in their major, study hard, work hard together and grow together in college.

Finally, Deputy Secretary Qian Minfang summarized and commented on the activity and put forward new requirements to all the students of Grade 18. Mr. Qian emphasized that students should communicate more with each other and live together harmoniously, but also strengthen the communication with teachers, and ask teachers for more advice on study and life problems; have a reasonable plan for college life, and make timely adjustment according to the actual situation in the implementation. Secretary Qian also announced the results of the competition, Japanese 182, English 185 and English 181 won the first, second and third place respectively.
