In the afternoon of November 28, female staff members of the College of Foreign Languages gathered together and had a floral art-making activity in a relaxed and warm atmosphere, not only enjoying the pleasant mood brought by flowers and greenery, but also experiencing the fun of designing and making floral art with their own hands.
As Christmas is near, this floral activity was about making beautiful Christmas wreaths. The professional florists introduced the teachers to various flower materials while explaining the steps and points of making them. Under the guidance of the two florists, the wreaths were patiently tied with flower clay, and then carefully pruned pine branches, roses, eustoma, Australian plum, acacia, carnation and other flowers were inserted in a staggered manner. Some wrapped pine branches around the whole wreath to make it look full and round, some exposed half of the intertwined canes to preserve a rustic color, some pulled out a big bow at the top of the wreath, and some tied the butterfly at the bottom of the wreath and dragged out a long, flowing ribbon.
From 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., the whole activity site was filled with laughter. Teachers either humbly seek advice from the florist, or communicate with each other, and sometimes encourage each other to praise, and sometimes take out their cell phones to take beautiful photos, invoice circle, the atmosphere is a warm and happy. A few young mothers also said that this is a Christmas warm-up activity, mastering the skills, so they can go home with their babies and enjoy the joy of parent-child DIY!
The cold wind is picking up and early winter has arrived.
