On the morning of May 14, Yan Yunrong, Minister of Science and Technology Department of Guangdong Ocean University, Jin Zhiru, dean of the College of Foreign Languages, and other five people visited our college to carry out in-depth research and exchange. School Science and Technology Department Director Shi Danda, college Party Secretary Li Pinyou, Dean Zhang Yan, and other guests received. The exchange focused on several key areas such as the characteristic development of foreign language disciplines, the construction of corpus, the construction of language laboratories, and the characteristics of foreign language + Marine research.
Zhang Yan, President of the College, welcomed the delegation from Guangdong Ocean University. She gave a comprehensive introduction to the school's experience in foreign language discipline construction, personnel training, and scientific research innovation. She focused on the college's unique exploration and practice in maritime foreign language education, and how to effectively improve teaching quality and research level through corpus construction. After the symposium, the Guangdong Ocean University delegation visited the history room and laboratory of the college to understand the history of the college and the use of the laboratory.
